Painter ：Lin Yu-shan
Lin Yu-shan (1907-2004) was born in Chiayi. Originally named Ying-gui, he used to study painting at Batakawa Painting School, Tokyo. In 1927, he was selected into the first exhibition in Taiwan together with Chen Jin and Guo Hsueh-hu. The three were then called “Three Juveniles of Taiwan Exhibition.” Afterwards, Lin led many painting associations and contributed a lot to the promotion of the local painting.
